Studies on Male Infertility Related to Antisperm Antibodies. (Ⅰ)

Abstract
|
|
|
Plasma sperm agglutination and sperm immobilization tests were performed in 22 post-vasectomized men lapsed from 1978 to 1982. Following results were obtained as below
1. Sperm agglutination test was positive in 12 among 22 post-vasectomized men (54. 5%) with highest positive rate 80% around 1 year postoperative period.
2. Sperm immobilization test was positive in 6 of 19 (31.6%) with peak rate 66.7% around 1 year postoperative period.
3. These tests were thought to be lack of objectivity and specificity, since positive reactions were observed 1 of 5 control group in sperm agglutination test and 3 non-specific reactions among 22 sperm immobilization test.
